Completed: Caught a foul ball
gentryI caught a foul ball off the bat of Roberto Alomar in ’99 at The Ballpark in Arlington. It actually hit about 7 rows behind me and bounced forward where I snagged it.
I once tried to bare hand a screaming liner off the bat of Micheal Young when I was sitting down the third base line lower level…all I got was a really sore palm/fingers.
At the ’95 All-star game at the ballpark i caught a Lenny Dykstra home run batting practice ball.
@Gentry nice! Foul balls can be way more dangerous than you’d think. Cool to hear that you got one. I’ve also snagged a few BP balls. The pressure is much lower then. Welcome to the site!
