Episode 090 — Tom Schneider: Bloomberg, Bonilla, & Scouting as the Lifeblood of a Franchise

Tom Schneider is a life-long Cubs fan currently living on Long Island, NY. He is the co-founder of Bloomberg Sports, which was a tech product that MLB franchises used to run baseball operations. We chat about some entertaining experiences Tom had with former players and owners while working on Bloomberg Sports, what it’s like to have children who are fans of rival teams, and why scouting is such a huge component of the overall health of a franchise.

We also hear what it was like to be at the first MLB game post 9/11, and touch on where each of us thinks the next league expansion location might be.
