Bio

New Jersey born and raised, I’ve been an avid baseball fan my entire life. I exclusively played baseball (at an incredibly mediocre talent level) from kindergarten through my junior year of high school when I then made the transition to umpiring. I umped 8-year-olds through 14-year-olds until I was a junior in college, at which point I spent my summer as the Marketing intern for the New Jersey Jackals.

My friends and I operated our own wiffleball league from 2007-2011, stats and all, and still hold an annual wiffleball home run derby each summer (I have won the most titles, but who is counting?)

Since 2013, we’ve gone on an annual MLB trip. We went to Baltimore and DC in 2013, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia (with a detour to a State College Spikes game) in 2014, Boston in 2015 and 2017, Toronto in 2018, Milwaukee (plus a Milwaukee Milkmen game) in 2019, Los Angeles (both teams) in 2022, and Arizona for the World Baseball Classic in 2023. In all, I’ve been to 40 MLB, minor league, and collegiate summer ballparks and can’t wait to go to more!

I take my role as commissioner of my fantasy league (established in 2008) far too seriously, to the point that I’ve made a website to catalog our league history, stats, and records for new managers to peruse, but mostly so I can look back on some good memories.
