Great Lakes Loons
The final game for our 2026 summer baseball trip. The loons park is kept up well, and very clean, yet also is very ordinary. The night was lovely temperature wise, yet it was cloudy. The loons bats were also incredibly quiet as they were almost no hit in a loss.

Traverse City Pit Spitters
Game 3 of the 2026 summer baseball trip. A 3rd beautiful night with a nice breeze. The park is beautiful, yet the rows are too long in between aisles. Also, the park is way too far from downtown Traverse City. The Pit Spitters also won big. Traverse City is a beautiful city with lots of places to see and eat at.

Green Bay Rockers
Day 2 of our 2026 summer baseball trip. Another beautiful night. The Rockers also won big. The park is beautiful, yet there really is very little to do in Appleton and Green Bay.

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers
Game 1 of our 2026 summer baseball trip. Jack, Ryan, Dad and I went after going to a Wisconsin supper club. The Timber Rattlers won big. It was a beautiful night for baseball.

Charlotte Knights: Truist Field
Went twice. First with dad on our trip to the Sox affiliates (except Birmingham). Then went with Jack and Ryan. The Knights lost this game to the Nashville Sounds. It was a beautiful hot night. Mune played his 2nd rehab game and hit a double.

Knoxville Smokies
Went to Knoxville on day 2 of our family trip. It was really hot and the Smokies got crushed by the Clingstones. Thankfully the lightning and thunder and the distance held off and they played a full 9 and had fireworks after. It was hot, yet a wonderful night. It is a beautiful park!

Iowa Baseball Vs UCLA
Cool spring day, with Jack, Ryan and my dad. UCLA crushed Iowa. Roman Martin hit 2 homers, while Will Gasparino hit 1. Roch Cholowsky hit a stand up double, walked twice, and was hit by a pitch twice. No frills park.

Toronto Blue Jays: Rogers Centre

Jack and I went to see the Battle Creek Battle Jacks take on the visiting Madison Mallards. It was a warm but nice night. The Battle Jacks won big as their starter went 7 plus innings throwing a gem.

Lakeshore Chinooks Kapco Park at Moonlight Grahm Field
The Lakeshore Chinooks defeated the visiting Kenosha Kingfish. The Chinooks came from behind in the 8th after trailing all game. I went with Jack. It was a cold night for June with the wind blowing off Lake Michigan. The park and campus at Concordia Wisconsin are beautiful. This was an easy venue to get to and one we have to go back to on a warmer night.

Huntington Park (Columbus Clippers vs Syracuse Mets)
The park was beautiful, yet I wish it had a 360 open concourse. It was a hot night that looked like it was going to strom from the 2nd inning on. Thankfully the rain didn't arrive until the 8th inning. The Clippers won a rain shortened game. This was game 3 of part 2 of our 2024 baseball trip. Jack, Dad and I attended.

Classic Auto Group Park (Lake County Captains vs Beloit Sky Carp)
The park is ok. We went and it was a double header. The first game the Captains destroyed the Sky Carp. The game included Travis Bazanna's first professional home run, a grand slam! The crowd, was small, but electric. The second game, although more well attended was not as engaging. The Captains lost to the Sky Carp. It again was a hot muggy day and night with no wind.

The park is beautiful, small, quaint and well kept. It was a hot muggy night, with no wind. It was a high scoring game, yet the Pit Spitters won. Jack, Dad and I attended as stadium 1 of part 2 of the 2024 baseball trip.

Rockford Rivets Stadium
Went with Jack, Ryan, and the Heffernans for our annual summer trip. Rockford won 12-10, yet the Waterloo Bucks mounted a crazy comeback attempt in the 9th. The Bucks scored 8 runs in the 9th and just fell short of tying it. It was a beautiful night weather wise and a ton of fun hanging out with the Heffernans.
