Who are the Savannah Bananas and What is Banana Ball?

Anna DiTommaso is the founder of BaseballBucketList and host of the Baseball Bucket List Podcast. Her goal is to provide a platform for fans to keep track of and share their favorite baseball adventures. Anna has been to all 30 MLB ballparks and her favorite team is the Tampa Bay Rays. Her first Banana’s game was at historic Rickwood Field in 2023.

What if I need Special Hotel Accommodations?
If you need something other than double occupancy, please send an email to both markjent@simplyafan.com and anna@baseballbucketlist.com for a revised price on single, triple, quadruple occupancy. Also if you would like to take advantage of our group block hotel rate at the Boston Back Bay, but need less than the 5 nights, please email us as well and we can provide you with a free quote.
Are there other activities besides the Bananas Game?
In addition to the Bananas game on June 8, we are also organizing a full tour for folks who want to join us June 4-9 in Boston for a Braves/Red Sox game on June 5, two days of sightseeing on June 6 and 7 and a private tour of Fenway Park on June 7. Included in this package will be 5 nights of hotel at the Hilton Boston Back Day.
When is the Game?
June 8, 2024 at 7:00pm. The game will be played at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.
Where are our seats?
Our entire group will have assigned seats in the outfield bleachers between sections 34-38. We’ll make sure that your entire party is seated together.Â
Should I bring My Glove?
Absolutely! Remember Banana Ball rule 8: If a fan catches a fould ball, it’s an out.
We also plan on organizing a big game of catch with all of the trip goers.
What is the Banana Bundle Giveaway?
Once our tickets for these games in Boston are sold out, we will have a live drawing on Facebook using a randomizer to pull the winner. For every ticket you purchase, you will be given that many chances to win. The Bananas Bundle Pack will include the following items:
- an official Bananas jersey, your choice of white or yellow
- a yellow Banana ball
- a set of three Banana decal stickers
- a Jesse Cole’s autographed book, “Find Your Yellow Tux”

What are the Terms and Conditions for Purchasing these tickets?
Knowing that some of you may want to bring a larger group, there is a max limit of 10 tickets per transaction. If your situation warrants more, please contact markjent@simplyafan.com. Tickets are electronic and will be transferred a month before the game. In an effort to reduce scalping on the secondary market (StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats) the tickets will not be activated by the Bananas until 24 hours before the game. When buying tickets please read our Absolute No Resale Policy in the checkout page Terms and Conditions, per our agreement with the Bananas.
