I grew up a Die-Hard Mets fan, but it all started with the one person that I know my whole life introducing me to the game. You can listen to that journey on the Baseball Bucket List Podcast, Episode 110.

After the love was instilled, I then followed the Mets from as young as 7 years old, which started back in 1980. I enjoyed the 1986 World Series Championship, I played sandlot baseball as well as in local leagues, but even with knowing my talents would not get me close to a major league contract, I still followed along with the game that became my first love.

Years would go by and after moving my family to Florida from NY in 2006, I was then able to get more involved in baseball, which eventually led me to being credentialed by the New York Mets to cover the 2014 Spring Training season, as well as a game at Citi Field that summer.

All these experiences from coaching my kids in the game, to just being around the professional part of the game on the diamond, led me to starting Legend On Deck in 2015.

Now many years later the website is still going strong as we added a podcast to allow us to continue highlighting the next stars in the game.

After 50 Episodes and counting, the podcast has built a name for itself and I get to keep enjoying the game I love.

Now I get to join another great community of baseball fans, who love to share the game and all they have seen in it. Hope we get to connect and swap some amazing stories.
