History and theology
I am a lifelong baseball and history nerd. I love road trips that take me to ballgames and to museums. I am a pastor in the Presbyterian Church in the Los Angeles area.

I grew up a Washington Senators fan and was at the last game on September 30, 1971. Frank Howard hit a homerun in his final at bat as a Senator and received a 5 minute standing ovation and took three curtain calls. The game was forfeited by the Senators and the fans poured out on the field at the top of the ninth.
