2023 California League Road Trip

Our 1500 mile road trip in the summer of 2023 completed our visit of all the ballparks in the California League as well as meeting up with my daughter and her husband at Disneyland. Oh yeah, we also went to see our favorite team the Angels, my childhood team.  

Day 1: Modesto Nuts – John Thurman Field: The Nuts are a low A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and this night they were playing the Lake Elsinore Storm. The Nuts play in a 68 year old stadium which that seats around 4000 people. The food at the stadium was typical ballpark food, nothing special. It was bark-in-the-park night and their were many friendly locals with their dogs. 

Day 2: Fresno Grizzlies – Chukchansi Park

Day 3: Inland Empire 66ers – San Manuel Stadium

Day 4: Disneyland  

Day 5: Los Angeles Angels – Angels Stadium

Day 6: Lake Elsinore Storm – Lake Elsinore Diamond

Day 7:  Rancho Cucamonga Quakes – LoanMart Field

Day 8: Stockton Ports – Banner Island Ballpark

Day 9: San Jose Giants – Municipal Stadium
