Completed: Attend the Midnight Sun Game

The Alaska Midnight Sun Game is the definition of a Bucket List event in the world of baseball.

Each summer on the solstice (June 21) in Fairbanks, the Alaska Goldpanners take on a visiting team in a game that starts at 10:30pm and goes well past the midnight hour…all with no lights!

It’s a tradition that dates back to 1906, and one of the items I hear described most as a “must do” bucket list item on the show and website. You’ll never see another game like this, and it is well worth the trip!

I had the pleasure of going in 2023 with the @japanball PNW / AK tour, and it was everything I’d hoped it’d be.
