Like everything else during the virus this season is different but normally one of the things I love about baseball is the rhythm of the season. It truly is a marathon and not a sprint. It becomes part of my everyday life for six months. I love living through the ups and downs of the season. I like to think of it as an epic journey.

The closest ballpark to where I live is Truist in Atlanta. I saw a game there last season and look forward to my next trip. The restaurants and shops around the ballpark are a great place to visit before the game. Don’t just show up for the game. Take advantage of the full experience they have created for fans.

My wife Marietta and I were just in Saint Louis. It is a great city to visit. We will be back when the city is opened up. Check out Fitz’s for great root beer floats and The Hill, the old Italian section for great homestyle Italian food.
