Last night, I checked out the Atlantic League’s newest ballpark, Meritus Park, home of the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars. What is a Flying Boxcar? Checked out some Division III baseball at University of Mary Washington on Sunday. The Eagles of UMW fell to the Blue Streaks of John Carroll University, 10-9. UMW is located in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and V. Earl Dickinson Stadium is part of the Battleground Athletic Complex, which also includes several other outdoor sports facilities.

Last night I visited my 100th baseball stadium, Guv Fuller Field, home of the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod League. (Photos part 1) Checked out the Johnstown Mill Rats of the Prospect League last night at historic Sargent’s Stadium at the Point. I have to see a game there. If there’s no game that day it doesn’t count. If the game is rained out before it starts it also doesn’t count. If the game is rained out in the middle it counts as long as I was there for the part of the game that was played.
